One felt like a survival course to endure; pitch black mazes hosting uneven flooring, intensely lit areas and blaring heavy metal music assaulting your senses keep you moving apprehensively along.
Then there was the spooky family type haunt that housed two top notice FX hand built by the volunteer crew. We’re talking ‘Disney’ type FX!
Next up had a great back story that was well presented and played throughout the haunt ending with an unusual twist.
Another had no story, no cohesion, but that did not detract from the aggressive actors make it a unique experience.
Lastly there is the one with an unusual location that was the ultimate in disturbing settings.
All were haunts, but yet very different. Even if you stuck clowns in each of them, they would still taste different. Is it because clowns taste funny?
Oh, and with the amount of time I am spending on the ferry system, they really should look into haunting the boats.
