Frighttown encompasses an entire city block where you will find 3 haunts- Baron von Goolo’s Museum of Horrors, Elshoff Manor and The Chop Shop. Strolling around the event there are Tarot Readers, a great Photo booth and multitudes of menacing creatures to keep you on your toes. There is even a venue for weddings if the mood strikes you.
Upon reaching Elshoff Manor I was advised of the rules; no touching, if you see a black curtain go through it, and listen to the spectral guides. Be advised that rules here aren’t in your best interest! I was lead back scene to make my own way out, visited by a ghost in a long hallway and accosted by various spirits. Well-done sets and great lighting made this a delightfully wicked Manor.
Next I made my way to The Chop Shop, a body shop with Bodies! Inside there were wrecked cars, industrial parts and various buildings that hid mutant humans who were seeking my attention. The butchery was well placed and gruesome. A special shout out to the stilt creature; we shared an extraordinary moment.
Baron von Goolo’s Museum of Horrors and the Atomic Rampage of the Ultra-Battle Monsters was my personal favorite. Inside the fabulous façade you will find oddities, freaks, a were-pug and the Ultra-Battle Monster’s scene. A profusion of eye candy ensued the adventure within.
Frighttown is the perfect choice for a October night and with plenty to do & see, a great value.
