It was a dark ‘n stormy night; the perfect setting as I approached the Georgetown Morgue where atop resides a kickass gargoyle. It must have spotted me parking because they knew I was there. Creepy, knowing they are always watching! I was greeted at the entrance and ushered in; alone.
As I made my way through the well-constructed maze, I appreciated the attention to detail and abundant eye candy. Around every corner there are decrepit walls, unsettling flooring and menacing creatures that were impressive with their timing and enthusiasm. I especially liked the axe welding patient, the extremely tall Dr. with an extra arm, and the incredible bloody water feature.
This being a big $$ haunt, they have all the new/cool FX & pneumatics; but take the time to incorporate them into a well-designed haunt that uses their very talented actors to create the scares.
This haunt get VERY BUSY later in the season, so be sure to visit soon, and more than once.
