I arrived pre-opening right smack dap in the middle of prep for a reception; but Henry aka Mr. Scream still took the time to show me around backstage and explain the new layout & locations. Walking amid the well-orchestrated chaos, I marveled at the splendid FX make up department busy at work creating monsters, the crafty wardrobe team assigning costumes and the talent transforming into the patients that will inhabit the asylum.
‘In this twisted tale of terror we take you into a bizarre reality where nothing is as it should be. Are you losing your mind? Perhaps. But don't worry. We have a wonderful asylum prepared to serve your every need, and the doctors and staff are all very eager to please!’ Is what the site says about Descent to Madness and right they are! Once admitted to the asylum, I experienced the madness of shock therapy, creepy swarming creatures, demented attendants and frenzied doctors. As I made my way through the extremely long maze, the confining paths twisted past visions that nightmares are made of. Special notice to the creature lurking in the room before the giant hypodermic needle, you got me!
