The downward slide began when the Maris ticket office was unable to sell me a FastPass VIP entry. So I bought a regular ticket for muggles and went to stand in long, long line with the other peasants.
Two hours later…
No kidding, the wait was two hours. So they had yet to figure out how to manage their throughput. Kind of an amateur mistake and not one I’d expect from old pros like Maris Farms.
Once inside, the scene did not improve. Actors were off on their timing, while others simply were not trying at all. I entered one set and the actor was sitting on his butt. As I approached, he waved a handheld prop at me and wearily mumbled, “Go Hawks.” Nice scare.
So I paid $25 and gave up two hours of my life to see last year’s props and meet a sad array of actors that were lazy, bored and completely off the rails.
Better luck next year, Maris.
