After all the hustle and bustle of the Halloween season, it is with mixed emotions that I welcome November. I love the change of color all around the PNW, the chilly nights, crisp mornings and fireplaces with the smell of wood smoke in the air. I’ll be eyeing the weather for a dry(er) day to sadly take down Halloween décor and pack it away.
This year I got to see some really imaginative, unique and impressive haunts. I am unfailingly astounded by what is created in such a short time and kudo’s to those that pushed the limits and tried something new. A quick trip back to CA included a 55th birthday party for my ex-haunt boss, a candlelight tour of Winchester Mystery House, Grimm’s Hollow and my favorite- a grammar school’s Halloween parade.
Due to work limitations, I will not be attending the Legendary Haunt Tour this year in Pittsburg, PA, so if anyone is going, let me know how it is.
A major player in the Portland market is going to be selling off much of his haunt so if you are interested in getting in the biz, or looking to add to yours, contact:

As always…..be safe out there and treat each other well.
